Question & Answer
Question
What is the behavior of the mkcmprovider command when the case of a key is incorrect for the specified provider?
Answer
As indicated in the mkcmprovider reference page, the key:value pair that specifies the query takes two forms:
Note the difference in case. Similarly, for the connection:
If the case of either of these keys is incorrect for the specified provider, the operation fails to establish the provider, but does not return any error.
- queryuri:query for ClearQuest
- queryUri:query for Rational Team Concert
Note the difference in case. Similarly, for the connection:
- connection.baseurl=base-url for ClearQuest
- connection.baseUrl=base-url for Rational Team Concert
If the case of either of these keys is incorrect for the specified provider, the operation fails to establish the provider, but does not return any error.
