Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN
  CATIA.

  Incident Diagnosis:
  *GRN are not migrated from V4 into V5.
  Doc : Infrastructure \ V4Integration \ Copying 3D
  from CATIA Version 4 to CATIA Version 5 -> lists
  all geometrical elements that can be translated.
  .
  Restriction Explanation:
  Migration V4V5 interface "ConvertEntity" isn't
  implemented for this V4 entity, so it can't be
  converted.
  .
  If customer really wants *GRN to be converted by
  Copy/Paste, a development has to be done :
  an ERD has to be opened explaining with details
  the necessity of such a functionality.
  .
  By-Pass:
  On V4 side, a CATGEO subroutine exists : LITSEXP.
  It enables to convert *GRN into an isolated
  polyhedral surface (*POL) or solid (*SOLM).
  Then the V4 mock-up generated element can be
  Copy/Pasted into V5.
  .
