CVEID: CVE-2014-8917
DESCRIPTION: IBM Dojo Toolkit is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a specially-crafted URL to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once the URL is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials

Affected Products and Versions
WebSphere Service Registry and Repository versions 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5.0.0, 8.5.0.1.
Remediation/Fixes
Customers using WebSphere Service Registry and Repository versions 8.5.0.0 and 8.5.0.1 should upgrade to version 8.5.5.0, which is unaffected by this issue.
For older versions, WSRR requires fixes to both the legacy web ui and the Business Space subcomponent. The Interim Fix for the main product is available on demand. Business Space fixes are available at the following locations:
