Error description

• STCAI: boolean parameter in CATIA is switched to
  false at each check-out
  Scenario:
  1. Using Data Model Designer
  define class attribute and indexes.
  -------------------------
  CATIA Part
  + Fields
  + boolean <-- ADD
  -------------------------
  2. Select "Boolean" from the tree, select Definition
  tab.
  Type : Boolean
  3. Click the "Create" button.
  4. Start "Form Designer" .
  5. Select an "Attribute Profile Card" of "CATIA
  Part".
  6. Add "CheckBox " for CN_BOOLEAN.
  7. Start Integration Tools Setup.
  8. Select "CATIA Part" under "Mapping group
  types" from the tree.
  9. Select "Open groups tree" using MB3.
  10.Select "Add mapping property" using MB3 on
  Engineering Information.
  Name : BOOLEAN
  Type : Character --> "Boolean" does not exist.
  Then, "Character" was chosen reluctantly.
  11.Click OK.
  12.Select "Add mapping attribute" using MB3 on
  BOOLEAN.
  Class : CATIA Part
  Attribute name : Boolean
  13.Click OK.
  14.Launch SMARTEAM "Default Values" tool
  15.Select CATIA Part class and put true as default
  value for Boolean attribute
  16.Open the boolean-test.CATPart in CATIA.
  This file has "Added properties" of boolean type .
  (Properties > Product tab > Define other Properties
  Note:boolean is set as "true."
  17.Close Properties window.
  18.Connet to SMARTEAM
  19.Execute SMARTEAM/Save and Check In
  operation.
  20.Select boolean-test.CATPart, then execute "File
  Operation/Open for Edit."
  19.Then execute Check Out.
  Problem: in CATIA Boolean property became
  "false."
