There are multiple vulnerabilities in cURL libcURL that is used by IBM Tivoli Netcool System Service Monitors/Application Service Monitors. These issues were disclosed on January 8, 2015 by the cURL libcURL Project.

DESCRIPTION: libcURL is vulnerable to CRLF injection, caused by the improper handling of URLs with embedded end-of-line characters. By persuading a victim to click on a specially-crafted URL link using an HTTP proxy, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to conduct various attacks against the vulnerable system, including cross-site scripting, cache poisoning or session hijacking.

CVE-ID: CVE-2014-8151
DESCRIPTION: libcURL could allow a remote attacker to conduct a spoofing attack, caused by the failure to check if a cached TLS session validated the certificate when reusing the session by the darwinssl_connect_step1 function. By persuading a victim to visit a Web site containing a specially-crafted certificate, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using man-in-the-middle techniques to cause the victim to accept spoofed certificates.
