Error description

• ITEV5CV5 : SAVE FAIL IN ENOVIA AFTER
  UPDATING A NEW DOCUMENT REVISION IN CATIA
  .
  SCENARIO:
  1. Create a PRC.
  2. Open the PRC in Product Editor.
  3. Send the PRC to CATIA V5.
  4. Create a new CATPart, Part1, with a simple
  geometry in CATIA.
  5. Save to LCA and close the PRC in CATIA.
  6. In Product Editor, perform a local refresh.
  7. Expand Part1.
  8. Save unlock all.
  9. Promote the Document Part1 twice (to status
  Approved).
  10. Lock Part1, usage and reference.
  11. Select the Part instance Part1 and click on the
  Documents tab.
  12. Expand Primary, select the Document and
  perform New Revision.
  13. Click OK in the warning message.
  14. Save unlock all.
  15. Perform a local refresh.
  16. Right click Part1 and choose Expand.
  17. Lock the Document Part1 --A and send it to
  CATIA.
  18. Make a modification to the geometry and try to
  save to LCA.
  19. The following message is displayed in
  CATIA "Operation not authorized! Part1 is not
  locked." It's not possible to save if not the part
  reference is locked.
  20. Return to ENOVIA, unlock the Document Part1
  and lock Part1, usage and reference.
  21. Return to CATIA and save to LCA.
  22. The following message is displayed in
  CATIA "Operation not authorized! Part1 is not
  locked." It's not possible to save if not the part
  reference is locked.
  23. Return to ENOVIA, lock the Document Part1.
  24. Return to CATIA and save to LCA.
  25. No error message is displayed in CATIA.
  26. In ENOVIA, save and unlock all.

  RESULT: The following error message is
  displayed "Prepare : at least one repository failed,
  Save failed".

  THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON :
  ENOVIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 15 GA level AND ON
  V5R14SP04.
  .
  NOTE:The New revision and New Reference menu
  item is disabled for a document which is a
  geometry document and the part is controlled by
  CATIA.(Step number 12 of scenario). This change
  has been implemented from V5R14SP04 onwards.
  Hence the scenario is not reproducible.

  Removing a Geometry Document on a Part
  Controlled by CATIA:
  "If a part is controlled by CATIA, you cannot
  remove the geometry document but you can add
  or remove any other type of document based on
  the normal rules of document attach, such as the
  lifecycle state of the part or whether it is locked,
  etc.
  .
  The New Reference and New Revision menu items
  are not limited to CATIA documents. While these
  commands are typically used for geometry
  documents, mainly to synchronize the geometry
  document on a new part version or a new part
  evolution, you can also use them for other kinds of
  documents.
  .
  If the document is a geometry document and the
  part is controlled by CATIA, then the menu item is
  disabled.
  .
  If the document is not a geometry document or it is
  not controlled by CATIA, then the normal
  enable/disable logic is applied."
