HD86377: INCORRECT RECORD IN THE CHANGES HISTORY TAB (BOM EDITOR) .

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Incorrect record in the Changes History tab (BOM
  Editor).
  Scenario:
  1. Create user1 with no Update permission on Item
  Tree link.
  2. Login with user1 and select any Item structure.
  3. Open with BOM editor.
  4. Select any child Item and modify the Quantity
  attribute on Link object.
  ==> OK: Get error - Unauthorized operation... This
  is OK.
  5. Switch to tab: Changes History.
  ==> KO: record is added to change history as if
  modification of Link is actually performed.
  Expected: if operation is not compeletd due to
  authorization, Change History should not be
  updated.

Problem summary
