  • DRAFTING(INTDRAFT) / "Microsoft Sans Serif
    (TrueType)" font when used two  byte character is
    garbled.
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1. Start CATIA.
    2. File / New / Drawing.
    3. ISO / A3 ISO (Any standard, size).
    4. Create Text like as attached CATDrawing with
    KANJ font.
    5. Select all Texts and select "Microsoft Sans
    Serif(TrueType)" from Text Properties toolbar.
    .
    RESULTS:
    The Double Byte character get garbled with
    Microsoft SansSerif(True Type) Font.
    .
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    The Double byte characters should be correctly
    displayed.
    .
    .

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
    5 RELEASE 20 GA LEVEL.
    INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
    DRAFTING(INTDRAFT) / "Microsoft Sans Serif
    (TrueType)" font when used two byte character is
    garbled.

    EXPLANATION:
    The correction is done through code correction.
    The text created in Japanese language is correctly
    dispalyed in "Microsoft Sans Serif (TrueType)" font.
