Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA Incident Diagnosis: When user selects a face to apply thickness one face gets selected. But on same plane, four faces from different features are getting merged. But oviously only one face gets selected and user can not apply thickness to other faces. . Restriction Explanation: It is a face simplification issue. Faces of three external prisms and added feature are overlaped. In CATIA, overlaped faces lying on same geomtrical plane are merged. In order to be able to select all faces user can change there geomtrical plane (by chaning the height). . By-Pass First thickness is created by selecting face of added. Then thickness feature is edited and other desired faces are selected. . .
