Error description

• Problem Description:
  There are two scripts available with CATIA
  installation:
  ImportMaterialLibrary.CATScript
  ExportMaterialLibrary.CATScript
  .
  These scripts take into account only the properties
  of Rendering Material and some types of Analysis
  Material.
  But there is no API available through which we can
  get to the Composite Materials. The properties of
  composite materials such as Uncured Thickness,
  Cured Thickness, and Maximum Deformation etc.
  cannot be retrieved or set.
  .
  Expectation:
  To have access for the composite materials and its
  properties through API
  .

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON Virtual Design  VERSION V5R20
  GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R19 SP5.
  Additional Closure Information:
  The macro has been updated and delivered in
  [install_path]\[operating system]
  \\startup\composites\samplemacro\*_CompositesAdded.CATScript
  (for both import and export).
  Scenario to Test the result:
  - Export it and check the result
  - Import the matlib generated into a new library and check
  the result
  - Export the newly created library.
  - Compare the matlib generated from new library with the
  matlib generated from provided library and check it is same
