Error description

  • ABF: Export batch Failes to generate the report
    when there is problem in data.
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1) Start CATIA V5
    2) Open the batch monitor through the Tools -
    Utilities
    3) Select ABF Batch Ex Report Process
    4) Select 283461000105 as input file
    5) Run batch
    .
    PROBLEM:
    The batch fails with error (see in the Process tab of
    the Batch monitor)
    We get report only for few assemblies & get error
    logged (Result window)
    .

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
    5 RELEASE 20 GA LEVEL.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
    ON V5R19SP05
    .
    Incident Diagnosis:
    Export batch used to discontinue report generation
    when it encounters some sub-assembly with design
    flaws in it.
    .
    Correction Explanation:
    Export batch does not fail now when it encounters a
    sub-assembly that has design errors in it, batch
    process continue creation of txt export files for the
    remaining assemblies.
    .
