Workarounds and Mitigations
Option 1: Do not use the affected files.
The affected files (fileuploader.swf, uploader.swf, audio.swf, and video.swf) are shipped with RBD v8.0.x, but they are not used by RBD. If EGL developers do not use them in EGL application, then the application will not be affected.
Note: These files are typically used when the application is either:
- directly or indirectly using the dojox/form/Uploader.js module or the dojox/form/FileUploader module in "flash" uploadType.
- directly or indirectly using the dojox/av/FLAudio.js module or dojox/av/FLVideo.js module.
Option 2: Delete the affected files.
To eliminate the exposure, you need to delete the affected files from your projects.
