Error description

  • Machining (NCInfra) / A Transition Path including a
Machine Rotation is not created for certain cases.
    .
    SCENARIO:
    01 - Launch CATIA v5r19sp2
    02 - File + Open the provided 'SR00012212-
    Product.CATProduct'
03==>The first Part is the Part provided by the
    Request Submitter
04==>The second Part is a Part that has been
rebuilt at FE Level, with the same Geometry.
    05 - Start + Machining + Advanced Machining
06 - Create a second Manufacturing Program, one
    dedicated for each Part
07 - Hide the Recreated Part
08 - keep the Submitter Part shown, and work in
    the corresponding Manufacturing Program
    09 - Insert + Prismatic Machining Operations +
    Profile Contouring
10 - Define and Compute the Toolpath on the Top
Surface, as shown in the Video
    11 - Insert + Prismatic Machining Operations +
    Profile Contouring
12 - Define and Compute the Toolpath on the
Inclined Surface, as shown in the Video
13 - Hide the Submitter Part
14 - Show the Recreated Part, and work in the
    corresponding Manufacturing Program
    15 - Insert + Prismatic Machining Operations +
    Profile Contouring
16 - Define and Compute the Toolpath on the Top
Surface, as shown in the Video
    17 - Insert + Prismatic Machining Operations +
    Profile Contouring
18 - Define and Compute the Toolpath on the
Inclined Surface, as shown in the Video
19 - Select the Part Operation + RMB + Object
    Menu + Definition
20 - Click on the 'Machine' Button
21 - Click on the 'Folder' Button, to associate a
    Machine
    22 Browse to '...\v5r19sp2
    \intel_a\startup\Manufacturing\Samples\NCMachine
    Toollib\DEVICES' and select the
    Mill_5axis.CATProduct' + OK + OK
    23 - Workpiece Automatic Mount
The Defect Scenario is described by the
    'SR00012212-FEReplayedScenario-Scenario.avi'
Video and by the following steps:'SR00012212-
    FEReplayedScenario-Scenario.avi' Video and by the
    following steps:
24 - Generate Transition Path + Select the
    Manufacturing Program associated to Recreated
    Part
25==>A Transition Path is generated between the
    two Profile Contouring Operations, corresponding
    to the necessary Table Rotation.
26 - Generate Transition Path + Select the
Manufacturing Program associated to Submitter Part
27==>NO Transition Path is generated between the
two Profile Contouring Operations, and therefore
the Machine Rotation Instruction is missing.
REMARK: Step 27 is the reported Defect Behavior.
REMARK: Submitter Customer works on non CATIA
V5 Data coming from third Party Software.
REMARK: This Case is a short example of a
Problem occurring on real / industrial Cases.
    .
    EXPECTED RESULT:
Get a Transition Path, including a Machine Rotation
    at Step 27.
    .
    .
