Error description

  • FSS: Porcupine Curvature Analysis: Amplitude
value is changed due to Undo operation
    .
    SCENARIO:
    0) Start CATIA.
    1) Open the CATPart
    W/B FSS.
    2) Expand 0000000 node in tree.
    =Tree is expanded.
    3) Click Porcupine Curvature Analysis icon.
    =Porcupine Curvature window is displayed.
    4) Set the parameter in the Porcupine Curvature
    window as following-
    - Type: Radius
    - Density: 1000
    - Amplitude: 0.1
    - Activate Particular and Envelop button.
    5) Select 3D Curve.10 in tree.
    6) Click OK in the Porcupine Curvature window.
    7) Double click 3D Curve.10 in tree.
    =3D Curve window is displayed.
=Control points of 3D Curve.10 are displayed in
    geometrical area.
    8) Select any control points and move them by
    drag and drop.
    9) Click OK in the 3D Curve window.
    10) Click Undo icon.
    11) Double click the created Porcupine analysis
    .
    PROBLEM:
The value of Amplitude is changed automatically.

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
    5 RELEASE 20 GA LEVEL.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
    ON V5R19SP04 AND ON V5R18SP08
    Incident Diagnosis:
A particular flag is not set on parameters and
another algorithm is called to update the amplitude
factor. Due to this the value of Amplitude is
    changed.
    .
    Correction Explanation:
The correction has consisted in firstly calling the
method which sets the particular flag on the
    parameters, then stream those parameters.
Now the value of Amplitude does not be changed
    by undo operation.
    .
