Error description

  • PART DESIGN: Pad is not updated correctly after
    the profile is modified
    1. Open the CATPart attached to the PMR
    2. Click "Pad" icon.
    >> "Pad Definition" dialog box is displayed.
    3. Activate "Thick" option.
    4. Click "OK" button.
    >> Pad is created.

    5-A. Double-click the Sketch.1.
    >>> Workbench is changed to Sketch.
    6-A. Create a line from arbitrary point to the circle.
    7-A. Click "Exit workbench" icon.
    >>> The pad is not updated correctly.
    >>> This is the problem.

    5-B. Double-click the Sketch.2.
    >>> Workbench is changed to Sketch.
    6-B. Create a line from the left circle to the right
    circle.
    7-B. Click "Exit workbench" icon.
    >>> The pad is not updated correctly.
    >>> This is the problem.

    5-C. Double-click the Sketch.3.
    >>> Workbench is changed to Sketch.
    6-C. Create lines between the each circles..

Problem summary

  • PART DESIGN: Pad is not updated correctly after profile's
    modification
    Specific Sketch Profile generates wrong Pad
    geometry definition when the thick option is used.

    The
    relimitation of the originated contours
    has two
    intersections: so it can lead to this
    error
    .

    No possible by-pass but the problem is
    fixed since
    R19 SP4 level now
