1. Open the HGA712.CATPart>> Workbench is Part
Design
2. Double click the Trim.20 >> The Error message
appears.
3. Click on the OK button.>> The Trim Definition
dialog box appears.
4. Click on the Preview button.>> The Error
message appears.
5. Click on the OK button.
6. Click on the Preview button.Problem: Runtime
Error appears and ABEND
.
Expected Result:
CATIA should not ABEND by this operation.

Problem conclusion


    

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
5 RELEASE 20 GA LEVEL.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
ON V5R19SP03 AND ON V5R18SP08
.
Incident Diagnosis:
ABEND WITH SPECIFIC CATPART WHILE
PERFORMING PREVIEW WITH TRIM FUNCTION
.
Correction Explanation:
The Trim operator was getting deleted twice when
Trim feature was in error which resulted in abend.
Problem fixed.
