Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA Incident Diagnosis . Electrical application creates a hybrid body. . Restriction Explanation . Creating a hybrid body for multi-branchable is the regular electrical behavior, starting in V5R18. In V5R18, a new behavior was introduced to increase productivity and to make the electrical model safer. This behavior prohibits the edition of mechanical features (ribs) owned by the electrical model from mechanical workbenches (ie. Part Design). From the user point of view, this increases the productivity since double clicking on the rib launches the branch edition panel. This also improves the security and the consistency of the data. This could only be achieved using hybrid bodies. The use of a hybrid body does not restrict other functionalities. . So the case of this APAR is the nominal case and works as designed. The customer should be informed accordingly. .
