APAR status

Error description

  • Design Copy permission does not propagate to the
    SmarTeam SolidWorks Integration.
    Scenario:
    1. Use SmDemo.
    2. Open User Maintenance. Create new User1 with
    no permissions.
    3. Create new Group1 with permissions:
    - full permissions on all links.
    - full permissions on users.
    - full permissions on Projects.
    - full permissions on SolidWorks Assembly.
    - full permissions on SolidWorks Part.
    - On SolidWorks Assembly and SolidWorks Part,
    switch to 'User Defined Tools' and Deny permission
    for Design copy (set '-' sign for this function).
    4. Assign User1 with Group1.
    5. Open SolidWorks and login ST with user1.
    6. Create any new Part or Assembly and save to
    ST.
    7. Locate active document and select the Object.
    Do Right-Click on the SolidWorks object.
    ==> OK: the Design Copy operation is disabled. It
    is expexcted since user has Deny permission.
    8. On the opened file, switch to DMT.
    9 Right-Click on file in the DMT.
    ==> KO: Design Copy operation is enabled and
    can be operated.
    Expected: DesignCopy should not be available.
    User1 has Deny permission on this function.

    VERSION 5 RELEASE 19 SP04 LEVEL.
