HD76067: ASD: COMPONENT->EXISTING COMPONENT, DOES NOT STORE A DEFINED FO LDER PATH WHICH WAS USED FOR SAVE OPERATION.

Error description

• ASD: Component->Existing Component, does not
  store a defined folder path which was used for
  Save operation.
  THE PROBLEM WAS REPORTED ON V5R18 SP04.
  THE PROBLEM IS REPRODUCIBLE ON V5R19SP1
  and R20 GA (07/09/2008).

  Scenario:
  1. Launch CATIA.
  2. Activate Assembly workbench. --> Product1 will
  be available.
  3. Create a Folder "ABCD" on ?D Drive?.
  4. Save Product 1 in folder ?ABCD?.
  5. Now do RMB click on Product1 and say
  Component  Existing Component.
  6. File selection window will open. Now observe the
  Folder Path available in File selection. Folder path is
  not for Folder ?ABCD?. It is different. This is a
  problem.

• Incident Diagnosis
  User wants that the folder path of File-Selection
  Dialog of Insert Existing Component" should
  remain same (ABCD in this case) which is used for
  save command. But "save" and "Insert Existing
  Component" are different command and for a
  particular command, File-Selection-Dialog shows
  the folder path from/to where last documenet was
  accessed for that command.
  Correct Application
  As per the Documentation File-selection Dialog
  shows the path from/to where last time document
  was selected for a command.Only excption
  is "SaveAs" of existing Documents,which is
  Documented.
  This is a general behaviour for all command which
  are uses File-selection Dialog.Same behaviour
  exists in windows also .
