Error description
AEROSPACE SHEET METAL DESIGN : JOGGLE COMPENSATION VALUE IS DISREGARDED Scenario: 1. Open CATPart 2. Change to Aerospace Sheet Metal Design work bench 3. Select Fold/Unfold Icon in Aerospace Sheet Metal tool bar 4. Measure the compensation amount in the flat view (Value measures 1.66 in) Compensation length should not exceed the value in the Method1.txt document (1.5 in) 5. Change Plane 4 value to 9 inches Error Message Corner operator: Impossible to compute eventual center of corner between element 1 & element 2 edges. 6. Select OK 7. Select Cancel 8. Double Click on Surfacic Flange.1+Compensation tab Uncheck the Apply Compensation tab 9. Change Plane 4 value to 9 inches 10. Part is now created with no compensation. The joggle compensation value should be limited to the value in the Method1. txt design table. The value in the included design table is 1.50 inches. Currently the compensation is applied the entire length between the joggle planes. If the second joggle plane is increased to a large distance CATIA will not build the part when joggle compensations are applied. .

Problem conclusion
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R19SP01 AND ON R20GA Incident Diagnosis JOGGLE COMPENSATION VALUE IS DISREGARDED Correction Explanation An error has been found in the CATIA code during the compensation check. The feature is now corrected Answer and By-Pass The 2 Joggles must be deleted and re-created because this correction is versionned to ensure existing topology stability. The problem is not fixed on r18 because it modified the UnFolded result of the Surfacic Flange and should be versionned. The versionning is no more available on r18 because r19 is now GA. .
