DESCRIPTION: IBM Security Identity Manager is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. By persuading an authenticated user to visit a malicious Web site, a remote attacker could send a malformed HTTP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to perform cross-site scripting attacks, Web cache poisoning, and other malicious activities.
The vulnerability can be accessed from a remote network, is of medium complexity, and requires authentication. Successful exploit will not compromise the confidentiality of the system, could partially compromise the integrity of the system, and will not compromise the accessibility of the system.
