Error description

• CATIA Link tab isn't displayed for CATIA Design
  Table when it is opened as read-only and linked to
  a CATPart
  Abstract:
  Customer is able to save a new CATIA document
  with Microsoft Excel file as design table object
  which already in Vault (checked in/released). In
  this case SmarTeam Save operation will
  successfully processed, but a result will be wrong,
  because Microsoft Excel object will not be modified
  and will not take CATIA behavior.
  Workaround:
  Perform Check Out/New Release of the Microsoft
  Excel object before.
  Scenario:
  1. Start SmarTeam Editor and login as joe.
  2. Choose some project and select some folder
  3. Right-click on the folder and choose Add >
  CATIA Design Table
  5. Then new object Profile Card will open choose
  DesignTable_test1.xls. as Excel file
  6. Check-In the saved object with keep local file
  7. Close Editor
  8. Start CATIA V5 and SmarTeam > Connect then
  login as joe.
  9. In CATIA session, File > Open and select
  Part1.CATPart.
  10. Click "Design Table" icon then click OK.
  11. Select DesignTable_test1.xls under
  SmarTeam/Work directory.
  12. Click Yes to "Automatic associations?", and
  click OK.
  14. From STCAI menu, SmarTeam > Save and
  select some folder and click
  OK.
  15. From STCAI menu, SmarTeam > LifeCycle >
  CheckIn(Active Document)
  16. Show the profile cards of CATPart and CATIA
  design table.
  KO: CATIA design table doesn't have CATIA link
  TAB.
  Expected result:
  SmarTeam Save in CATIA should not be processed
  in this situation. The user should receive the
  prompting to do check out/new release of the
  dependence (Excel) object before saving.
