• GSMD: ROLLED WALL ERROR DUE TO
  CONSTRUCTION/REF ELEMENTS IN SKETCH.
  .
  SCENARIO:
  1) Start CATIA.
  2) Set Sheetmetal Parameters:
  Thickness: 3mm
  Default Bend Radius: 3mm
  Bend Extremities: Minimum with no relief (default)
  Bend Allowance: K Factor: 0,325257499 (default)
  3) Create a Sketch of an Arc with a 41 deg
  opening. The opening must be created using
  Reference Lines in order to reproduce this
  problem:
  3a) Create a 25mm long Line (make it
  Reference/Construction only) from the origin that is
  at 20.5 degrees.
  3b) Select this Line and then the Mirror Icon.
  3c) Mirror the line from the 0 axis.
  3d) You now should have two Construction Lines
  that are 25mm long with 41 degrees between
  them. Constraints are also be present, but not
  relevant to the problem.
  4) Create an Arc using the axis center and the end
  of the two Lines.
  5) Exit the Sketch.
  6) Create a 25mm length Rolled Wall from the
  Sketch.
  7) PROBLEM: The following error occurs.
  Update Error
  Rolled Wall.1
  The update of RolledWall failed.
  An error occured while evaluating the bend
  deduction. Check your bend table (Angle
  compatibility ...) OK.
  This is the problem.
