IM shows products as installed on system even though they have been removed

Troubleshooting


Problem

After manually removing installed products from the file system, the subsequent installation attempts using Installation Manager (IM) can result in showing that products are already installed.

Symptom

Previously removed software is still showing as installed and you are unable to change the installation directory in InstallationManager (IM).
