Error description

  • SMARTEAM API Found conflicts between different
versions of the same dependent as
I'm getting a warning message now in Visual
    Studio.NET 2005 caused
by the new SMARTEAM API standard interop
    assemblies provided with
service pack 7. The error is "warning MSB3247:
    Found conflicts
between different versions of the same dependent
    assembly" and it
seems the standard SmartFlow interop library is
    referencing the service
pack 6 versions of the SmApplic and SmRecList
    which of course is
causing this conflict in the references. I do not
    believe this problem
is limited to just the SmartFlow library but it is one
    of the most
    important.
    To reproduce this problem.
    1) Fresh SMARTEAM R17 installation with SP7
    installed.
    2) Run CopyFileFromGAC.bat file to copy the
    assemblies out of the GAC
    for referencing
    3) Create a new visual studio WindowApplication
    project.
    4) Create a refernce to the standard SMARTEAM
    interop files for
    SmApplic, SmRecList and SmartFlow.
    5) Compile the project.
