Error description

• CATIA V5 Drafting error
  SCENARIO:
  1. Open the provided CATPart and CATDrawing
  with V5R19GA.
  2. In the CATDrawing, double click the callout
  arrow AA and invert the arrow direction by
  selecting Invert Profile Direction button.
  3. Select End Profile Edition.
  Result:
  Error : Intersection computation has failed appears
  and a red cross appears in the section view. The
  section view disappears and only the centre lines
  remain in the view.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN
  CATIA
  RESTRICTION EXPLANATION:
  The solid.1 in remove.2 has tangential faces with
  the partbody which cases the boolean operation
  between the remove.2 and partbody to fail. In
  CATIA V5 such kind of tangential faces are not
  allowed between the bodies involved in the boolean
  operation.

  BYPASS:
  Extend the face of Solid.1 using Thickness
  operation. After this operation the section view is
  displayed correctly even after changing the callout
  direction.
