Error description

  • Scenario:
    Install V5R18GA and run launch CATIA from the
    command line using the following command:
    .
    C:/Program Files/DassaultSystemes/B18GA/intel_a/
     code/bin/CNEXT.exe
    -admin -env CATIA.V5R18_R18GA.B18
    -direnv "C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/
     Application Data/DassaultSystemes/CATEnv"
    -nowindow
    .
    -> CATIA starts in User mode with error message:
    Administration Mode
    Requested Administration Mode Failed.
    CATReferenceSettingPath=C:/temp
    Check the CATReferenceSettingPath variable in
    your environment
    and the directory's access rights
    .
    Note:
    Starting Admin mode at V5R17SP6 level with the
    same command is successful.
    .
    Bypass:
    Add CATSTART.exe to the command as follows:
    .
    Catstart.exe -run "CNEXT.exe -admin" -env ..
    .
    .
