Error description

  • Arrow keys and scroll wheel do not work in
    gridview when viewer is open
    Hi,
Stork Prints complains about how the scroll wheel
    and the use of
arrow keys work when using the Cimmetry viewer.
When you do a search for e.g. AutoCAD drawings
    and then scroll the
mouse wheel, both the drawing is zoomed and the
    grid is scrolled.
The arrow keys are not stepping between the
    different objects.
They would like to click in the window where the
    arrow keys or the
scroll wheel should work, either in the grid or in the
    viewer.
They claim different behaviour depending on file
    type, I have however
not been able to reproduce this file type
    dependency.
According to them it is OK on SolidWorks Drawing
    but not OK on
    AutoCAD drawings and SolidWorks parts.
Use SmDemo and search for i.e. AutoCAD
    drawings.
Minimize the grid until not all result s is shown at
once, that means you need to scroll the result grid.
If you now scroll on the mouse "s scroll wheel
the grid will move up and down.
Also if you press the arrows keys the selected
    object will up or down.
If you now click on the viewer tab and then scroll
the mouse "s scroll wheel both the drawing is
zoomed in and out and the result grid is also
    moved up and down.
If you now use the arrow keys nothing happens.
Using the arrow keys when viewing a part makes
    the part rotate.
What the customer wants is if you click on the
search grid, the mouse and arrow keys should only
affect this area, and if you click in the viewer are
you should switch over the control to the
    viewer
    .
