HD68366: CONNECTION ERROR WHEN SAVING TO ENOVIA LCA A NEW PART INSERTED INTO A GCO

Error description

  • Connection error when saving to Enovia LCA a new
    part inserted into a GCO in Catia
    SCENARIO:
    1. Log onto ENOVIA LCA
    2. Create a new Product.
    3. Select Product + RMB Click + Send To +
    Component Editor
    4. In component editor, select Product + RMB +
    Insert Child, GCO1.
    5. Close component editor, click OK to save when
    prompted.
    6. Open your product in the product editor, open
    Product in instance view.
    7. In Instance view, multi-select Product and GCO1
    + RMB + Send To + CATIA V5.
    8. In Catia V5 select GCO1 + RMB + Generic
    Components + Insert New Part.
    9. Save to ENOVIA.
    OBSERVATION :
    CATIA Window:
    Error: An error occured during save sequence.
    Save aborted.
    Warning: ENOVIA V5 VPM connection was lost! If
    this happened during Load or Save operation,
    some involved entities might not be processed
    correctly.
    Warning: Products already exist in the ENOVIA V5
    VPM Database. They have been automatically
    saved with new name
    Warning: Cannot check reference existence in
    ENOVIA V5 VPM Server. Operation ignored.
    Warning: Cannot create objects in ENOVIA V5 VPM
    Server. Operation ignored.
    Warning: Failure when saving the objects in
    ENOVIA V5 VPM DataBase.
    Warning: Database recovery canceled: reconnect
    to the ENOVIA V5 VPM server before you try to
    save again Reason: unable to rollback data in the
    ENOVIA V5 VPM database.
    Information: The name of documents is longer than
    the specified characters. It will be automatically
    saved with a new name
    Information: CATIA session data restored
    successfully.
    ENOVIA Window:
    Connection Error:
    You have lost connection to the ENOVIA V5 VPM
    Server. Click OK to Exit.
    Once user clicks OK ENOVIA Exits.
    So far has been reproducible 100% of the time.
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    After inserting instance under the GCO user should
    be able to save to ENOVIA without error.
