SPA unable to connect with TEPS SSL

Troubleshooting


Problem

TEP clients must have a secured connection to the TEPS, hence the TEPS has SSL enabled on the interface definition (eg. KFW_INTERFACE_cnps_SSL='Y'). This causes the Summarization and Pruning agent to fail to connect with the TEPS to get to the historical data collection settings.

Symptom

The *sy_java*.log file shows the following errors:

== 32 t=Thread-5 EXCEPTION: getHistoryConfig request to the TEP Server failed.
== 33 t=Thread-5 EXCEPTION: Failed to init history
== 34 t=Thread-5 EXCEPTION: Failed to setup history config
