Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN
  CATIA.

  Incident Diagnosis:
  A STEP file is partially imported (2 faces are
  missing); thus the solid cannot be created. The err
  file detects that the surface #377 and #471
  are not recognized as valid surfaces.
  .
  Restriction Explanation:
  The STEP file contains 2 invalid surfaces (#377 for
  face #5, #471 for face #111). These surfaces have
  a major radius value of -13. This is forbidden by
  the STEP AP214 norm. This is detected by checkers.
  The problem is on SolidWorks side where the STEP
  was generated.

  By-Pass
  Correct the STEP file. To get the correct definition
  of the faces, the value -13 must be replaced by 13
  and the orientation flag of the faces must be
  reversed.
