• GSD : WARM START : CATIA ABENDS AND WARM
  START FAILS ON SUBSEQUENT START.

  Preparation
  1. In tools/options/general/ data save ? check
  incremental backup
  2. Tools /options /Infrastructure /Part
  infrastructure /General tab / update ?Check Manual
  .
  Scenario:
  1. Load the CATPart in CATIA
  2. Edit the extract that is created by double clicking
  3. Edit the elements to extract
  4. Select the element and click on replace in the
  dialog box that opens
  5. Select the edge
  6. Click on OK
  7. Click on Update icon
  8. Click OK on the runtime exception error message
  9. Restart CATIA
  10. Click yes on the warm start message
  .
  OBSERVATION:
  At Step 7 CATIA Abends. At Step 10 CATIA
  crashes again
  .
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  CATIA should not crash

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 19 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R18SP01 AND ON V5R17SP07.

  Incident Diagnosis
  CATIA abends and subsequent warmstart fails due
  to bad dimension of input.

  Correction Explanation
  Now the protection of bad inputs is implemented,
