Scenario:
1. Open attached CATPart.
2. Launch Measure Between command. With default
Sel 1 and Sel2 mode select any two intersecting
surfaces.
3. CATIA will display distance as well as angle.
4. Now again launch Measure between command.
This selects the Sel1 and Sel2 mode as Surface
only.
5. Now again measure above two surfaces, CATIA
displays only distance, angle tab grayed out. This is
the problem.

Problem conclusion


    

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
5 RELEASE 19 GA level.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
ON V5R18SP01

Incident Diagnosis
Angle can nt be measured between two intersecting
surfaces.The Surface only mode was not handled
to display the angle. Hanlded the same in the code.

Correction Explanation
Algorithm modified to manage such selections.
