InfoSphere Guardium - Corrupted guard_tap.ini caused by adding alternate-ip list

Troubleshooting

Problem

Adding an alternate-ip list from the appliance GUI with spaces between the ip-addresses can cause corruption in the guard_tap.ini

Symptom

First few lines of the [TAP] section of the guard_tap.ini will show invalid parameter settings after an invalid alternate-ip list was entered from the appliance GUI. This will also result in the S-TAP failing to restart and the current guard_tap.ini will be renamed to guard_tap.ini.err
