APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After a successful No-Query-Restore, a restartable restore
session may still be seen on the TSM Server through the
QUERY RESTORE command. The restartable restore session can
prevent the client from performing backups until the session
has timed out or has been cancelled.
This is similar to APAR IC59073 but it is a different issue.


Initial Impact: Low

TSM Versions Affected: All TSM 5.5.x Servers for supported
platform

Local fix

  • Cancel the restartable restore session by using the CANCEL
RESTORE command.
