Error description
When the applet for com.ibm.eNetwork.hllbridge.hllapienabler is set to auto-start, the user gets a java script error popup with "SessionManager: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException"; when the user clicks "OK" on the popup, the HOD session stops.
Local fix
Problem summary
When executing a 3270 session that hasHLLAPIEnabler active in the startup, but the HLLBridge has not been installed, ajava error occurs on startup: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException and HOD stops.
Problem conclusion
The addition of Wide Session Manager in HOD 7.02 changed the error that AppletManager was looking to catch. SessionManager also did not catchall of the errors. SessionManagerand AppletManager were modified to catch all possibleerrors for this condition. Now, the exception only shows up in the java c for cases where the hllbridge was not installed for the application and should have been.
Temporary fix
