Error description

  • ABSTRACT: Attribute mapping does not work using Solidworks integ
    ration
    .
    SCENARIO:
    In case of 3D model
    1. Open  the xxxxxx.sldprt in Solidowrks  and  click properties
    > configuration specific tab. Then input  a value in Parts_ISS
    and save it.
    2. Execute SmarTeam save
    Result->The value  of Parts ISS is not mapped in SmarTeam
    (This is mapping issue 1.)
    .
    In case of 2D model
    1. Select Checed in Solidworks Drawing in Smarteam then  update
     Drawing ISS  then click  OK
    2. Select FileCopy  to it then open it in SolidWorks then check
    properties > Configuration Specific tab
    .
    Results->The value of Drawiing ISS is not mapped in Solidworks C
    onfiguration Specific tab
    (This is mapping issue 2)
    .

    This issue requires a change in behavior of SWI Mapping which
    needs a lot of new implementation. This will be considered as
    a New HighLight in future level of ENOVIA SmarTeam.
