Troubleshooting
Problem
Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases - Data Protection for Microsoft SQL is installed silently. During the installation, the installation of Microsoft ReportViewer 2010 Redistributable starts and user is prompted for action.
Symptom
The following window is presented during the silent install.
Resolving The Problem
The ReportViewer prerequisite may be silently installed using the following command :
x:\fcm\x64\mmc\3200\enu\ISSetupPrerequisites\{E79DF561-C1FA-48ED-9BB0-6C9DC84ABAAE}\ReportViewer.exe /q /norestart
Notes:
- "x" in the above path represents the drive letter where the product DVD is mounted or the path where the is extracted.
- Adjust the path accordingly for the version being installed. For example, with Data Protection for MS SQL V64.1.3, the path is :
x:\fcm\x64\mmc\3213\enu\ISSetupPrerequisites\{E79DF561-C1FA-48ED-9BB0-6C9DC84ABAAE}\ReportViewer.exe /q /norestartOnce the " Microsoft ReportViewer 2010 Redistributable" prerequisite is installed, you can proceed with the silent installation of Data Protection for MS SQL.
