    3. The window Open display files could not be found
    (*.CATPART)
    4. Select Desk or File / Desk
    Result:
    The application remains in the state: CATIA not responding

  • THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA
    Additional Closure Information:
    Incident Diagnosis:
    CATIA does not respond when you select Desk on opening the
    CATProduct.
    Reason:
    - While opening 'CATProduct' documents could not found window
    appears.
    The list contains many documents which cannot be opened in
    CATIA.
    But We have also observed some documents in the list (ex:
    *.CATPart) that can be loaded and located at the
    specified path.
    But still it is shown in not found list. This must be because
    the name of the document is same but it has different UUID
    than the expected one.
    This might happen by renaming the document outside CATIA.
    - We have also observed a path who not found in the list
    - When Clicked on Desk it checks the link on each and every
    part for creating the graph.
     If there is any cyclic link exist in the data then it will
    go on checking inifinitely.
     In such cases CATIA hangs. This might be the reason for
    CATDUA failing.
    With such data the issue cannot be analysed.
    By considering all the above observation on this data
    specific issue it is the restriction.
