HE09873: DOCUMENT LINKS : AN NVALID LINK TO A CATPART IS DISPLAYED WHEN A CATDRAWING IS OPENED

Error description

• Scenario:
  1) Start CATIA R20SP4
  2) File / Open the provided CATDrawing
  -> The following message is displayed:
  Open
  The files in the following list could not be found or contain th
  e wrong information for the active document
   SMARTEAM://_STFILE_E:\ ......CATPart%VERS_1
  Use the Desk command to relocate the correct file
  Note:
  CATDUAV5 does not remove the invalid link from the CATDrawing.
  The message is not displayed if the Bottom view is removed from
  the CATDrawing.

Problem conclusion

• Please use the following procedure to remove the invalid link.
  1) File / Open 42626182000E052005T.CATDrawing
  2) Edit / Links / Pointed documents
  3) Select 42626182000.CATProduct
  4) Select Replace
  5) Select 42626182000.CATProduct in the File Selection box
  6) Click Open
  7) Click OK
  8) File / Save As
  .
  This procedure will work at the following CATIA levels:
  CATIA V5-62012SP01
  CATIA V5R20SP07
  CATIA V5R21SP03
  .
