Error description

  • Environment-
    SmarTeam R20 SP6 with PLM DB with CATIA Viewer
    Scenario:
    1. Launch SmarTeam Editor and search for CATIA Details
    Drawing document:
    a. Reference: BSA0179603500_EX_
    b. Revision:  E
    2. Click on the Viewer tab to open the document in the viewer
    3. The document is displayed in the CATIA viewer (the drawing
    contents dimension lines in pure white color (color code:
    255, 255, 255) )
    4. Click on Print button
    5. Choose Rotation + 90
    6. Fit in Page
    7. Page Setup - Page Format - A3 ISO
    8. Option - Color - Monochrome
                          - option "Print white vectors in black"
    not selectted
    9. Select Printer and click on OK button
    10. The dimension lines are printed as well.
    Result Expected:
    - The dimension lines (in pure white color) should not be
    printed.

  • "When saving a .CATDrawing document in a vector (.cgm, .svg,
    .pdf, etc.) or raster format (.tif, .jpg, etc.) through
    SmarTeam >> Save..., elements in a white color are always
    saved in a black color."
    So the option provided in CATIA viewer is generalized option
    which is not useful for CGM files.
    Still if you want to print White Vectors as White then please
    set the following Variable in CATIA Environment so it will
    create CGM file with White vectors in White.
    Variable -
    CATIA_TEAM_PDM_CGM_WVAB = FALSE or 0
    It will print White Vectors as per Value set for Variable -
    False - It will print White vectors in White
    True - Print white vectors as black.
