    Cache Management
    Activate Work with the cache system
    2) File / Open Product1.CATProduct
    3) File / Save As .stp
    4) Close file.
    5) File / Open Procuct1_test.stp
    -> OK
    -> All components are exchanged correctly
    .
    6) Tools / Utility / Batch-DXF-GES-STEP
    8) Exchange Product1.CATProduct to STEP file
    ---> Product1.stp is created
    9) File / Open Product1.stp
    -> KO
    -> Part2 and Part3 are not exchanged
    .

Problem conclusion

  • In this specific case, an important change to the software
    design is necessary in order to obtain
    a correct result when running the DXF-IGES-STEP batch with
    the cache system ON.
    DS does not plan to make this change.
    Bypass:
    A correct result can be obtained by running the DXF-IGES-STEP
    batch with the cache system OFF.

    THIS PROBLEM IS A PERMANENT RESTRICTION
