HE08338: WHEN A PRODUCT IS OPENED, A WARNING "INCIDENT REPORT" WINDOW IS DISPLAYED ANS ITS MOTHER PRODUCT DOES NOT DISPLAY

APAR status

Error description

  • Process:
    1) Start CATIA V5R20
    2) Open Product1.CATProduct
       Workbench      : Assembly Design
       > Product.1 is opened normally, and the "Incident Report"
    window is not displayed.
       > Product.2 is opened normally.
       > This is key point.
    3) Close Product.1.
    4) Open the file  : Product2.CATProduct
       Workbench      : Assembly Design
       > Product.2 opens, but an Incident Report window is
    displayed. This is 1st problem!!!!
    5) Select "File / Save Management?" from the menubar.
       > "Save Management" window is diaplayed.
    6) Confirm the number of the data displayed by "Save
    Management" window.
       > but Product.2 is not displayed in "Save Management"
    window. This is 2nd problem!!!!

    Expected Result:
    When Product.2 is opened, an "Incident Report" window must
    not be displayed.
    And, Product.2 should be displayed in "Save Management"
    window.

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON Virtual Design  VERSION V5R22
    GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R20 SP7.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R21 SP2.

    Problem when opening a BRep container that is under an
    Knwoledge proxy container.

    The container is now correctly taken into account.
