Error description

• Scenario:
  1. Launch CATIA.
  2. Create a circular pad of radius 60mm.
  3. Create a plane angled with 5 degrees to XY-Plane.
  4. Create a new Drawing.
  5. Crate a front view and select the plane created in step 3.
  6. Dimensions > Select ?True length dimension? in Tools
  Palette and select the cylinder edges.
  Result:
  The dimension is not 60mm, which is its true length.
  Expected Result:
  The dimension should be true length.
  True length can be confirmed by dimensioning it isometric
  view.

• INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  The "True Length Dimension" mode is selected in the Tools
  Palette of the dimension creation
  command, but then a geometry located in a projection view
  (i.e. not an isometric view) is selected and as a consequence
  the mode is switched back to "Projected Dimension".
  CLOSURE DESCRIPTION:
  True length dimensions can be created only in isometric views.
