Error description

  • Scenario :
    1- File / Open the CATPart file
    2- Go to Generative Sheetmetal Design workbench
    3- Edit the Sketch and change the diameter of the circle
    4- Exit the Sketcher
    5- Update the Part
    Result :
    It leads to an "Update Error" during Update : "No entry found fo
    r error id 0x00000001"
    We get the same error with these operations :
    Go to File / Desk / CATDUA, clean the Part and Update the Part

        CATIA VERSION V5R19.
    THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON :
        CATIA VERSION V5R21 SP1.

    Incident Diagnosis:
    Generative Sheetmetal Design - Error 0x00000001 during Update
    Technical Reason:
    In the provided CATPart the sheetmetal transformation data is
    missing for the Flange.1 feature.
    So, in order to correct this, we must update the whole
    CATPart to get the correct transformation data (by using the
    input power command c: force update) or change Sheet Metal
    Parameters Thickness from 2mm to 3mm and then back to 2mm.
    Now, if we edit the Wall.2 feature it will build correctly.
    .
    Sheetmetal transformation data is missing for the Flange.1
    feature is due to a problem during creation on user side.
    The design is correct; but as we do not know how the customer
    creates this part or save this part, we cannot give the
    origin of this problem.
    So, to investigate further, we need to get the scenario of
    creation of this Part.
