Error description

  • The customer create a detail with COMPOSER
He exports his view in SVG via technical illustration.
When he opens the SVG in IE, we can see the detail without
    any circle.
With CV5, a RED circle is displayed if he selects 'insert' -
'picture' and inserts the SVG in the draw.

  • Dear Customer: we have reviewed the problem report you
submitted and determined that the function referenced is
working within the scope of the original design
specification. However we recognize the value of your
feedback and will consider including resolution of this issue
as a product enhancement in a future release, if one is made
available. We thank you for your input.
    Additional Closure Information:
    Incident Diagnosis:
The red circle around the SVG shape is caused by the stroke
color attribute of the <ellipse> element in the SVG file.
This color is #ff0000, that is red.
This red circle should not be visible in CATIA because there
is an additional opacity attribute for the <ellipse> element
in the SVG file set to 0.0, that is fully transparent.
CATIA doesn't manage opacity for stroke.
    By-Pass:
Just set the stroke color to #ffffff that is white and it
    will not be visible anymore.
    Development Request Justification:
CATIA should be able to manage stroke opacity.
