When attempting an HTTP recording in IBM Rational Performance Tester (RPT) the error “There is a problem with this website's security certificate..." occurs.

Symptom

When attempting an HTTP recording in Rational Performance Tester (RPT) the error occurs:

There is a problem with this website's security certificate...

The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority.
The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address.

This message can occur when you attempt a recording with Microsoft Internet Explorer against a secure (SSL) site.
