HE05713: PART: UDF CAN NOT INSTANTIATE INTO NON HYBRID BODY

APAR status

Error description

• Scenario
  1) Open UDF Part and other Part. "W/B GSD".
  2) Select "Window/Tile Vertically" in menu bar.
  3) Activate UDF Window.
  4) Select Geometrical Set and select "Reorder Children" using
  contextual menu. "Reorder Children" window is displayed.
  5) Select Plane.3 and select "Moves up the selected element"
  button.
  6) Click "OK".
  7) Expand the "Knowledge Templates" in tree.
  8) Double click "UDF". User feature Definition window is
  displayed.
  9) Click "Change/Update components" button. "UDF Edition
  Warning" window is displayed.
  10) Click "Yes".
  11) Click "OK" in the "User feature Definition" window.
  "Warning" window is displayed.
  12) Click "OK".
  13) Activate other Part window. You can see the current is
  "PartBody".
  14) Select "Insert/Instantiate From Selection" in menu bar.
  15) Select UDF in the UDF part.
  .
  Problem: "Error" window is displayed. This is a problem.
  The contents of error window: The destination PartBody is not
  valid with the position. Inside for the instantiation of the
  template reference UDF. The feature UDF cannot be inserted at
  this position because of ordering rules. The destination will
  be unset. Please select another one.

  Information: This is a regression from R20SP02
  .
  BYPASS
  If the repeat the step from 8 to 12 after the step 12,
  Then continue the step from 13 to the end,
  This problem does not occur.

  "UDF" should be instantiated into non hybrid body.
  "UDF" should be instantiated into hybrid body.
  "UDF" should not be instantiated into Ordered Geometrical Set.
  "UDF" should not be instantiated into Geometrical Set.

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION V5R22 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R21 SP1.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R20 SP6.
