HE05587: PART: WALL THICKNESS ANALYSIS: THICKNESS RESULT IS NOT DISPLAYED ON THE PARTBODY WHEN CATPART IS SAVED AND RE-OPENED.

Error description

• SCENARIO:
  1. Create a new CATPart
  Workbench- Part design
  2. Create a simple pad
  3. Launch Wall thickness Analysis command
  4. Select the Pad
  5. Select on the fly option in Option tab
  6. Select Run and click OK
  7. Double click on Wall Thickness Analysis and move the
  cursor over Pad
  Observation:
  The thickness value is displayed.-This is correct behavior.

  8. Save the CATPart but do not close it.
  9. Again double click on Wall Thickness Analysis and move the
  cursor over Pad
  Observation:
  The thickness value is displayed.-This is correct behavior.
  10. Close the CATPart and re-open it
  11. Double-click ???WallThicknessAnalysis.???
  12. Confirm the ???On the fly??? check box is checked.
  13. Move the cursor to any position on the Pad.
  Observation:
  The thickness values are not displayed.-This is the problem.
  14. Again click on run button and move the cursor over Pad
  Observation:
  The thickness value is displayed.-This is correct behavior.
  In the case of using ???Section cut???(select ???Section??? tab)
  ,
  Warning message is displayed as
  ???Warning
  First launch the analysis by clicking Run.???
  .
  However there is no such message in the case of ???On the fly???
  
  option.
  PROBLEM:
  By opening the CATPart, thickness values should be displayed
  on the fly whenever ???on the fly option is checked???
  .
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  By opening the CATPart, Thickness values should be displayed
  on the fly even if Run button is not clicked.

  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  On the fly Thickness result is not displayed on the Partbody
  when CATPart is saved and re-opened.
  .
  CORRECT APPLICATION:
  Whenever On the fly function is available, it is stated in
  status bar (bottom left corner) as follows.
  ???fly over the part to get thickness under cursor (if on the
  fly selected) and click a planer face/surface to position
  section(if Section cut selected)???
  However On the fly function is not available as long as the
  analysis has not been launched since opening the part. In
  this case, status bar shows message as ???click Run to launch
  the analysis???
  When editing Wall Thickness Analysis feature, analysis must
  be launched again to get the results on the fly as mentioned
  in the status bar. i.e. User will have to Run the analysis
  again to get on the fly results.
