Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION V5R21 GA level.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R20 SP6.
    Additional Closure Information:
Diagnosis: Copy/Paste transaction of Views with dimensions
relying on old corrupted "connectors to geometry"
    components can fail.
Reason: DCR_8 is a new DUA rule that cleans such "connectors
    to geometry"
    Technical explanation of the defect:
Regarding the dimensions that are not pasted (angle
    dimensions):
This behavior is correct : those dimensions use the numerical
display format called "ANGLE,DG" which is a customized
    format.
As mentioned in the Interactive Drafting online documentation
in the section Basic Tasks/Copying and Pasting Elements,
"When pasting elements from a drawing to another drawing
which uses a different standard: some elements (such as
dimensions) may not be supported by this standard. In this
case, such non-supported elements will not be created."
In other words, the target drawing document must use the same
    standard than the original one.
Use the extracted standard XML. If you create the new drawing
using this standard, the paste performs correctly.
    Technical explanation of the correction:
    .
    Possible by-pass and/or correction limitation:
Use the right standard for target drawing.
